After field study of classical precedent in Prospect Park such as the Boathouse, this corinthian order proposal was drawn for Bartel Pritchard Square at the west corner of the park. It carefully considers scale in relation to the existing Circle Columns and includes a front plaza that is contained by vegetation. Above its open renaissance arches, an elongated bracket element is devised to account for the cornice’s inward shift in plan.
