Frank Taylor attended Tulane School of Architecture (TUSA) from 2019 - 2024 and graduated cum laude with Bachelor of Architecture. He currently works as an architectural designer for Colectivo in New Orleans.
In the summer of 2021 Frank took a summer studio at the Institute of Classical Art and Architecture in New York City and recieved a Certificate in Classical Architecture. The following summer he joined studio^RISE in New Orleans as an intern. In the fall of 2022, Frank participated in a design-build research studio at the Albert & Tina Small Center, and for the spring semester he took architecture courses at Temple University in Tokyo, Japan. Upon returning from Japan, he spent the summer as a Teaching Assistant for TUSA’s Career Explorations program. He also began a Research Assistant position, where he helped design a booklet, showcasing work from the Resilience Reinforced research studios at TUSA. In fall 2023 Frank took part in the NASEM Gulf Research Studio, which included an overnight trip through Baton Rouge, Cocodrie, Lafayette, Lake Charles, and Morgan City, Louisiana. Stemming from their research in the Gulf Research Studio, Frank and his friend Jose Varela collaborated on an architecture thesis entitled ‘Port Towns as Catalysts for Regenerative Industrial Landscapes,’ which was selected to be featured in Dezeen Magazine.
